Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel in Orlando at the scheduled time. After a hearty breakfast, you will be driven to the Crystal River for a scenic pontoon boat ride. Home to Florida’s endangered manatee, this river is the perfect place to swim and snorkel alongside the ‘gentle giants of the sea’. All snorkelling equipment will be provided.

After an open-air lunch overlooking the manatee sanctuary at the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, you will commence the next leg of the tour. Discover Florida’s best-kept secret – the Homosassa State Wildlife Park, where you will experience Florida’s natural beauty and wildlife, including more manatees, bears, and even a hippopotamus!

There will be a 45-minute airboat tour along the Homosassa River where you can scour the water for manatees, dolphins and other wildlife favourites. After the airboat ride, you can stroll along the elevated boardwalks and into the animals’ habitats. Look for bears, panthers, alligators or even a hippo while exploring the park.

After the trip, you will be driven back to your hotel in Orlando.
