Spend quality time in Salzburg, the home town of the legendary Austrian music composer Mozart and sightsee to your heart’s content. You can visit the Hohensalzburg fortress, the birthplace of Mozart, the cathedral, Hellbrunn Palace and explore the town’s fine boutiques and culinary delicacies.
The drive through the charming Lake District is an absolute treat for the eyes. The Salzkammergut Lake District, just beyond the gates of Salzburg, is one of the most picturesque places in Austria. See the spectacular locales which were immortalized by the classic The Sound of Music in the 1960s.
The town of St. Wolfgang with the famous White Horse Inn is also included in this tour and is a haven for nature lovers. The tour culminates in a leisurely and charming boat ride across the enchanting Lake Wolfgang.
Once in Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart, you can spend quality time strolling through the picturesque city, sightseeing and shopping. Enjoy a drive through the charming and picturesque Lake District with its blue lakes and picturesque mountains, where the classic musical drama film The Sound of Music was filmed.
The next halt is the town of St. Wolfgang, a market town in central Austria, with the picturesque White Horse Inn at Lake Wolfgang. Enjoy a leisurely boat ride on Lake Wolfgang that will take you back to your coach waiting for you on the other side of the lake for your drive back to Munich.
The tour ends at approximately 7:30pm, when you will be dropped off at the Main Station in front of Karstadt department store.
