This tour of Munich focuses what the city is perhaps best-known for; its Bavarian Beers! Get into the heart of Munich’s "Oktoberfest" culture and visit the places where the locals go to eat, drink and be merry!
No other city has such a profound respect for beer that they have dedicated a museum to it! This tour includes entrance to the Beer and Oktoberfest Museum which is located in one of Munich’s finest old medieval buildings. After the museum tour you will sample some beers in the museum's Tavern.
Then visit the 19th century Hofbräukeller and help yourself to a traditional cold food platter with hot“Weisswurst” veal sausage - and wash it down with the finest beer!
All the traditions, food and beer Munich is famed for, in one unique evening!
The tour starts at the Munich Central Train Station at 6:00pm. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide who will take you on a guided walking tour of Munich, the beer capital of the world.
You will be informed about the different types of beer available and you get to sample some of them. You will also be introduced to the best traditional Bavarian food in all its variety - Weisswurst, dumpling, roast pork and more.
Take an exclusive private tour through the beautiful new Beer and Oktoberfest Museum. Walk around its traditional beer garden (depending on the weather).
Visit the famous Viktulienmarkt, an old city food market.
The tour ends at Hofbräuhaus, Germany’s most famous beer hall.
