Overview

Discover the beautiful, historic, and culture-packed city of Krakow on a bus and walking tour. This beautiful UNESCO listed city was named the European City of Culture in 2000. Krakow is a city bustling with character and charm.

Surrounded by parkland, the fascinating Old Town boasts the largest medieval square in Europe, lined with bars, restaurants and pavement cafes, where you can relax and watch the world go by.

Krakow was fortunate to come through WWII with all its architectural and cultural splendour unscathed. As the royal capital of Poland for over 500 years, Krakow has an amazing array of sights for you to enjoy on this sightseeing tour.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from centrally located hotels in Krakow in an air-conditioned coach.

Visit the Jewish District of Kazimierz to explore the area which used to be inhabited by one of the most diverse Jewish communities in Europe.

Then a short drive will take you up the Wawel Hill which is the embodiment of Poland's former monarchical glory. Its summit is the Royal Castle and a 14th-century cathedral which hosted almost all coronations and funerals of the Polish monarchy.

Having descended the hill, stroll along Kanonicza and Grodzka Streets to reach Collegium Maius (Great College), the oldest building of the Academia Cracoviensis.

Continue to the Main Market Square. This bustling heart of the city is a perfect place for picking up souvenirs, especially in the Cloth Hall which has been the local market place for centuries.

Visit St. Mary's Church, where the stunning medieval altar sculpted by Veit Stoss is located and a bugle call sounds towards the four corners of the world every hour on the hour.

The tour concludes at the Main Market Square.

Note: Pick up schedule from various locations in the city centre. Please advise your hotel at the time of booking. If your hotel is not mentioned in attachment we will advise you on the most convenient pick up point when your tour is confirmed.
