Itinerary
Begin this tour with a comfortable morning pick up from your accommodation in Hanoi Old Quarter. Meet your friendly English-speaking tour guide as you depart for the ancient capital city of Hoa Lu, located in the Ninh Binh Province. Enjoy the 2-hour drive along the Red River delta and prepare to spend a day exploring the natural and cultural landmarks of Hoa Lu and Tam Coc, in the following order:
Visit the famous ancient temples of King Dinh and King Le.
Make your way to the natural site of Tam Coc to enjoy an early buffet lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy a treat of delicious traditional Vietnamese dishes while admiring the charming beauty of Tam Coc.
Embark on a 2-hour sampan boat ride through the serene river. Enjoy the relaxing ride as the lush green landscape of Tam Coc surrounds you. Marvel at the breathtaking Ha Long Bay and pass along deep caves and immense rice fields that merge serenely into the river. Keep a look out for mountain goats on the cliffs and colourful kingfishers!
