To begin your Denmark castle tour, you will travel in a coach from City Hall Square on Vester Voldgade. The tour will take you to the following major highlights:
• Frederiksborg Castle: It is the largest Renaissance palace in Scandinavia and houses The Museum of National History since 1878.
• Kronborg Castle: A UNESCO World Heritage Site also known as ‘Hamlet’s Castle’. It was the inspiration behind Shakespeare’s setting for Elsinore, the home of Prince Hamlet in his classic play, Hamlet.
• Fredensborg Palace: It is the spring and autumn residence of the Royal Family. Stop for lovely photographs at this beautiful palace.
An English speaking guide will accompany you at all times. At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to the original point of departure.
