The museum is a treasure trove of information on people that played an important role in Danish history and houses see objects and artefacts that belong to way back when. There’s also a Children Museum, where kids can play their way through history aboard a Viking longboat, attend a school from the 1930s or prepare a snack in a medieval kitchen.
A guided tour of the museum will give you a local’s perspective on Danish life and the values that shape Danish culture and society. Voyage back in time at Classical and Near Eastern Antiquities Exhibition and see Egyptian mummies, Persian ceramics, Roman utensils, Greek sculptures and other interesting artifacts of the ancient world.
