Overview

In addition to its natural appeal, Xoximilco has prepared a party full of flavors and Mexican folklore that live the legends and customs which characterize these happy people. With a varied fauna, different colors and music everywhere, this is a perfect escape to celebrate nature, and enjoy at the same time the Mexican spirit. The brightly colorful trajineras (pronounced 'tra-hee-nair-ahs') invite you to join the celebration, plus tequila, music and delicious food, now you're all set! The canals of Xoximilco provide a festival-like atmosphere with the sound of mariachi, marimba and traditional music bands filling the air.
