Overview
Enjoy an early morning visit to one of the seven wonders of the modern world, the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza. With live commentary on archeology and Mayan culture, re-imagine how the Mayans once inhabited this city. As you stroll through the well preserved ruins, learn about Mayan mythology, philosophy and cosmology to gain a deep understanding of the meaning behind the stone sculptures and platforms.
Enjoy picturesque views and a refreshing dip in the Cenote Saamal, right next to its waterfall. Tuck into a savory Mexican buffet lunch.
End the tour with a visit to Ek Balam, probably one of the most important places for the Tlalol kingdom. Climb the pyramids to enjoy a sweeping view of the Mayan jungle at your feet. After exploring this amazing archeological site, you’ll have free time to continue exploring on your own.
