The Forbidden City, an extensive palace complex that was the Chinese Imperial Palace for more than 500 years, the divine abode of the emperor and his immense entourage, which is unparalleled in the entire planet. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, it's easy to understand why. Its 980 buildings dating back to 1406 make the Forbidden City the largest collection of ancient wooden structures in the world.

Discover the enormous Tiananmen Square, (Gate of Heavenly Peace) built during the reign of the Ming Emperor, Tiananmen Square is the largest central city square in the world, which serves not only the city's symbol but also the whole of China.

Stop at the west of Tiananmen Square for spectacular views of the egg-shaped National Grand Theatre. Walk along Tiananmen Square, you will see China's parliament building - Great Hall of the People on the west, Monument to People's Heroes and Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao on the south.

Pass through the Tiananmen Tower under the immense portrait of Mao Zedong, walk into the Forbidden City to explore the Imperial Palace. You have the option to stop at most sites for photo taking, the local professional tour guide will provide detailed commentary of each place. After half day visiting, the tour guide and driver will transfer you back to your hotel.
