Overview

Badaling is one of the most accessible sections of the Great Wall of China. Located about 70 kilometres from the centre of Beijing, you will be there in the blink of an eye. The Badaling Great Wall is one of the best-preserved sections, making it a must-see for anyone visiting Beijing.

Learn a little more about its deeply integrated culture, be captivated by the sights that surround you, and explore its military installations. Built during the Ming dynasty, its walls are approximately seven meters high and, in some sections, up to six meters wide.

Most stairs are not very steep and equipped with handrails, so its fairly easy to climb. If you prefer to save your energy, going up or down, why not opt to take the cable car or pulley (not included).

After climbing the Badaling Great Wall for 2 hours, the tour guide and driver will transfer you back to downtown and drop off at your hotel.
