Start by taking a walk along the remains of the Roman Walls which will bring you to the beautiful Barcelona Cathedral. The very heart of the Gothic Quarter, the cathedral has an exquisite Gothic exterior. Your guide will escort you inside to see the Cloisters. Continue your walk through the hidden backstreets and lively piazzas to the remains of the Temple of Augustus where you will have your next interior visit. This is one of the best preserved remnants Roman architecture in the Gothic Quarter. As you continue thorough the Gothic Quarter you will pass the City Hall, the Royal Palace and a host of charming squares and breathtaking buildings. The last interior visit is the Palantine Chapel of Santa Agata which again dates back to the Roman era at which time it was the Royal Palace.
