    You have enjoyed the food but now you want to learn to cook those incredible Thai dishes. With just a few lessons this Thai cooking tour will teach you more than just the basics. In a traditional open-air Thai house kitchen, located very close to Bangkok, you will be taught the many secrets of Thai cooking.

    The course is designed to give you an appreciation of the Thai cuisine. You can take advantage of this conveniently structured course. So join up and learn to cook those super Thai delicacies in a genuine, traditional setting.


    The courses are designed to give the participant knowledge and insight into what it takes to create a Thai menu for home entertainment or to simply enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal. Whether one is a novice or an accomplished chef, you'll pick up new skills and authentic recipes.

    The cooking classes are held in an outdoor classroom in the midst of an orchard of mango, banana, papaya and coconut trees, and a kitchen garden of fresh herbs and spices used in the recipes.

    To gain a full appreciation of the essence of Thai cuisine, the course begins with an introduction to cooking techniques, Thai food names, the selection of ingredients and basic food groups.

    Discover how to blend fresh herbs and spices using traditional utensils such as the mortar, pestle and the coconut grinder.

    You'll also learn about the great variety of fresh vegetables, some of which are picked fresh from the gardens.

    Lessons featuring the preparation of ingredients, hands-on cooking demonstrations and time for discussion and enjoying the fruits of success are conducted in an open air kitchen.

    The main topics covered in the course are soups, salads, curry pastes and curried stir-fried dishes, decorative fruit and vegetable carvings and desserts.

    You will learn how to select fresh vegetables and herbs and in the course of these trips even learn about local, traditional life.

    Upon completion of the course, you will be able to prepare a complete dinner menu of your own.
