Take a serene ferry ride across the Chao Phraya River and disembark to cover a 20km bike ride through minor roads, pathways, alleys, temples, gardens, elevated canal paths and tropical jungle! Enjoy refreshments along the way and ride past the beautiful floating markets and over 30 temples in the area.
Kick start a day of adventure by first meeting your guide at Suan Plearn Market on Rama IV Road. Hop on the ferry to get across the Chao Phraya River and disembark at an extraordinary place known to the locals as Bang Kra Jao.
The incredible wilderness of Bang Kra Jao left untouched by developers makes it seem like a wonderful journey through time. As you cross the serene river, admire the lush vegetation, maze of waterways, small villages lining the banks of the river and tropical jungles. This scenic route is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok city.
Ride through the villages and count your way through over 30 stunning temples in this area! Should you book this bike tour on a weekend, you may also enjoy the sights of a delightful floating market. Learn all about the fruits and flowers growing along the path on your journey and after an exciting ride, take a little break and tuck into some light snacks and drinks on the river.
After refreshments, head to a charming temple built in the Ayutthaya period that is more than 250 years old and admire the unique roof made of teak wood. Take your time to marvel at the incredible architecture of the temple before heading back to Bangkok where the tour comes to a close.
