Admire the Portuguese architecture of Santa Cruz Catholic Church, the stunning Temple of Good Friends and the famous Temple of the Dawn on this 4-hour guided tour spanning 26kms.

Itinerary

Meet your guide at Printing House Poshtel, Bangkok and begin your bicycle tour to the heart of downtown Bangkok where lies the mysterious district of Chinatown.

Explore the back alleyways of the lively Chinatown as you make your way to the local ferry to find calmer surroundings. Head to the other side of the Chao Phraya River where the trail leads you at a tranquil pace. The gently winding back roads of Thonburi district open up to charming temples, beautiful sites and markets and the Princess Mother Memorial Park. This hidden gem rarely sees tourists and is a well-kept secret among locals. Be sure to visit the small but historically rich museum that is nestled among the park’s arching branches.

Head back on the trail and onward to Santa Cruz Catholic Church whose architecture is heavily influenced by Portuguese architecture. Take a break and tuck into some delicious Portuguese dessert made from an age old recipe! Thereafter, ride through the old community to the Temple of Good Friends and behold the second biggest Buddha in Thailand! The temple is also home to the biggest monk bell in Thailand.

Continue next to the famous architectural marvel in Bangkok – the Temple of the Dawn, adorned with beautiful pieces of Chinese porcelain. Since this tour will visit temples, please show respect at these sacred places by wearing a shirt with sleeves and knee-length shorts.

Enjoy the last leg of Bangkok’s exploration where the tour comes to a close.
