Embark on a half day expedition to Denpasar City on this private sightseeing tour and explore the Balinese capital, at your own pace with full exclusivity! Accompanied by a professional and friendly driver who will help you experience the best things in the city, you can explore Puputan Square, Pasar Badung and Bali Museum with the Bali Arts & Crafts Cultural Centre, it makes for a great introduction to this pretty Asian city.

Your first stop for the day is the historic Puputan Square, built in remembrance of the battle against the Dutch occupation in the early 1900s. The site has been built in memoriam of a mass suicide by the king of Bali at the time and his procession of soldiers when the Dutch marched on to the capital, and hold enormous cultural and historical significance for the country. You’ll then head to the traditional open-air market - Pasar Badung - to get a glimpse into the daily lives of the locals and discover this electric place, filled with an array of local shops, restaurants, fruit stalls, and more.

The final stop is the delightful Bali Museum, documenting human and ethnographic relics from the past. Learn all about Balinese art, culture and history as you traverse the four buildings - Tabanan which showcases theatrical masks and musical instruments, Karangasem which houses sculptures and paintings, Buleleng housing textiles, and Timur which is home to the archeological finds. While here, you’ll also be taken to the Bali Arts Centre or the Werdhi Budaya Art Centre where you can see intricately carved handmade wood products and explore exhibits of modern as well as contemporary paintings.
