You will be picked up at 0830h (08:30am) in an air conditioned coach from your hotel in Yogyakarta and taken on a guided tour of the following sites in Yogyakarta (also known as Jogja).
• Sultan's Palace of Yogyakarta: The palace was founded by Prince Mangkubumi in 1755. Javanese classic dancing rehearsal, royal wedding ceremonies, puppet show, and other Javanese cultural performances are often held here.
• Museum of Sonobudoyo: The building is constructed in the classical style of Indonesia and houses an impressive collection of Javanese art and craft.
If time permits, you may also visit the centre of craftsmanship in gold and silver, Java's finest batik (a fabric which is hand-dyed with wax) cloth and 'wayang kulit' leather puppets.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Yogyakarta.
