Overview

Discover a rainforest after dark on a thrilling nocturnal experience! Spot wildlife, waterfalls and the magic of the glow worms as you are guided through the forest by torchlight.

Enjoy stargazing, tuck into sumptuous dessert at a local restaurant and embark on a fully guided rainforest walk to the waterfall. This is a perfect experience to spot wildlife and discover the bio-network of a rainforest.

After being picked up, you will be taken to the tranquil and picturesque Gold Coast hinterland. Enjoy tea, coffee or hot chocolate accompanied by a selection of delicious cakes at a local mountain top cafe.

Make your way through the lush forests of the Mount Tamborine National Park and spot native nocturnal wildlife, with a professional guide to keep you company. Everyone has a flashlight to light the walkway. At the end of the trail emerges Curtis Falls, a subtropical waterfall and home to the ever-fascinating, glow worms.

The small group tour makes for a personalised experience as you spend the night in an ancient rainforest and enjoy informative commentary by your guide.

Voucher information: Sorry, but we will need you to print a paper version of your booking voucher (we're working on changing this). At this time no refund can be given for customers without a printed copy of their voucher.

The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch, and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 48 hours before your organized activity to reconfirm.

There are no refunds if you no-show or are late for your departure so please ensure you check-in with us at least 15minutes prior to your scheduled departure.

What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes, a jacket, hat, water bottle.

Our rainforest walks require a low to moderate degree of fitness and follow clearly marked paths and boardwalks. Enclosed shoes are recommended.

All our vehicles carry umbrellas, insect repellent and first aid kits. Your guides have all relevant permits, training and authorisation to ensure a safe, comfortable journey. This is an all age tour. Should you require a booster

seat for younger family members, we can provide them at no extra charge – just let us know in advance.

Any person under the age of 16yrs must be accompanied by an adult 18+.

Alternate vehicles may be used in the event that a Southern Cross vehicle is unavailable.

Tour duration is approximate and is based on tour time starting from and returning to Aquaduck booking office, Surfers Paradise.

There is no storage on the bus or in the booking office for prams or large bags. Please leave them in your car or hotel room.

Minimum numbers apply: There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
