    Overview

Tummy rumbling? Taste buds tingling? Mouth dribbling at the prospect of tantalizing Asian cuisine? They should be, you’re in Singapore, a hot-pot for delicious culinary delights. Chinese, Indian and Malaysian cuisine, all there, waiting, tempting, calling your name! From the best Dim Sum to the sweetest cakes, this tour is a tasty treat sensation. Are you hungry yet? With your local food expert there to guide and advise, you’ll be taken to three distinct districts to try their own delicacies. The Malay village is the perfect introduction, and with the temptation, bar already high, it will only get higher after you head onto Chinatown. All fragrant smells and bold colours. It’s screaming culture here! Then it’s onto Little India, for the third course. With stories and insights, this is a truly local experience. You set the tour, you indulge and enjoy. If you have any room for more, it’ll be surprising.

    About your guide

Think of With Locals’ tours as a sort of mini cultural exchange program. Each of their local guides aim to share a part of their city that they know and love with travellers and each bring their own tales to the table in the process.

    Here’s the plan…

You’ll meet your expert local foodie guide before setting off on your private tour of Singapore’s mouth-watering culinary scene. Three countries unique styles and culture brought together for your taste buds.

Don’t have breakfast because your first course is in The Malay Village. Sit back and relax as you pick from Lontong (curry vegetables and rice cakes) or Nasi Lemak (coconut rice dish). You’ll get to wander through the village, getting a real perspective of the history and culture, before trying a local drink and then heading onto course two; Chinatown. This area is bursting with culture and yummy treats! You’ll check out the largest hawker centre, try the best Dim Sum ever and enjoy sugarcane juice and spring rolls. Room for more?

The third course (save some space!) Takes you to Little India. Create your own Rojak (a traditional, meat, fish or vegetable dish). Quench your first with a Mango Lassi and indulge in traditional Indian sweets. With insights from your guide and personalised to fit your dietary needs, this is one tour where food really is key. Yum!
