Best Time To Visit

For a S.E.A. Aquarium tour, the best time to plan your Singapore vacation is for February through April.  The dry season kicks off in late winter, bringing less precipitation and a little relief from the humidity.  With that said, blazing temperatures and high humidity can affect a Singapore tour at any point in the year.  From the time to time, the rest of the dry season might cause complications for people with asthma and other respiratory issues.  That’s because, near the end of the dry season, nearby Sumatran farmers light fires in their fields, causing pollution and low visibility.  For a wet and wile S.E.A. aquarium experience, come during the wet season, when you can save a bundle on lodging and other activities.  Finally, as a general rule, Singapore’s weather cannot be predicted.  It can go from a sunny day to a torrential downpour at a moment’s notice.

Getting Around

Once you have reached the HarbourFront Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Station, you’ll find a few different ways to reach S.E.A. Aquarium.  Perhaps the best method is taking the Sentosa Express Monorail.  For just $3, you can enjoy a scenic, roundtrip ride to and from S.E.A. Aquarium.  Alternatively, you can simply walk along the Sentosa Boardwalk for 14 minutes and experience the joy of getting to S.E.A. Aquarium for free.  Lastly, for an old-timey experience, you might want to try the Singapore Cable Car.  It costs around $18 for a round-trip, but some people definitely say that the experience is worth it.

Money Saving Tips

On a time crunch?  No problem!  Save a bunch of time by heading straight for the back of the aquarium when the doors open.  Then, work your way back against the flow of visitors!
