Bicycle, bicycle. I like to ride my bike. Love cycling? Love exploring? Why not combine the two. Pick your bike, saddle up and peddle Singapore. You’ll zip through the city, see some stunning sites, and refuel with yummy local snacks, (much needed!). Explore the beach road and gather a pannier load of history and an album full of photo snaps as you go! Le Tour de Singapore indeed. With your local biking guide, you’ll be exploring all the nooks and crannies that Singapore can offer. You’ll pedal your way through the city’s oldest neighbourhood, the cultural hub and along the Marina Bay. Don’t worry, we know it’ll be warm, so you’ll have stops to refuel and replenish the reserves! Not forgetting to take plenty of pictures as you go. On this tour, you'll see the city from a new perspective. Visit places the bus tours can only dream of taking you? Two wheels are good. No, two wheels great!
About your guide
Urban Adventures are for those who want to get away from the tourist crowds and really connect with a city, with a local by their side. The experience can be as short as a couple of hours, or as long as a whole day, but in every case our Urban Adventures tours take travellers to interesting places to experience local culture and see what makes a place unique. Join us for the Best. Day. Ever.
Here’s the plan…
Once you’ve met your guide, got kitted out with helmet and bike, you’ll be set for a two-wheeled tour into the heart of Singapore.
You’ll be zipping through the city passing the modern and the ancient. For example, you’ll experience the oldest residential zone, where British-era buildings still stand. You’ll head along the historic Singapore River and find out why it was the centre for the city’s commercial development. That's just the warm up! Along the way, there will be a chance to stretch the legs, and you’ll have the option to try some local coffee or a refreshing calamansi juice (local lemonade style drink and very tasty too) and a local snack.
Then you’ll be jumping on the saddle again (make sure not to miss!), visiting the cultural enclave of Kampong Glam and continue through the side streets where boutique shops and cafes tempt you. Add in the Little Istanbul area, Malay Heritage Centre, and beach road before the big finish at the Marina Bay! Phew! That will keep you busy and your feet peddling. Have fun!
The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch, and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 24 hours before your organised tour to reconfirm.
No need to print! You can show your voucher on your smartphone or other device.
This activity is adults (and older children) only. Little ones under the age of 10 years will have to sit this one out, we’re afraid.
English is available on this tour, other languages are available on request
It is important to provide details about your height on your booking, so as to determine the size of your bike. You wouldn’t want the wrong size bike would you?
Make sure to dress light and wear shorts and sports shoes comfortable for biking. You might also want to bring sunscreen
