The Cooch Behar Palace is one of the most important places to visit in West Bengal. It boasts of magnificent architecture that is very much similar to that of Buckingham Palace in London in 1887 AD. This brick-built palace is protected and fortified by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The royal palace, which is now a part of West Bengal, is like a pun on an otherwise princely and significant state in British India, i.e., Cooch Behar.
