You will be picked up from your hotel and taken in a 4WD for a scenic tour of Lord of the Rings locations around Queenstown and the Southern Lakes Region (Wakatipu OR Glenorchy).

A truly breathtaking excursion though the diverse scenery of the Queenstown valley, a 4WD tour into the heart of New Zealand high country, the embodiment of the Middle-earth of Tolkien's imagination. Travel through historic Arrowtown then feel the excitement of crossing the Arrow River several times before refreshments and gold panning.
View stunning lake and mountain vistas from The Remarkables mountains and be amazed by The Skippers Road.
Some of The Lord of The Rings sites visited during this tour include the Misty Mountains, the Pillars of the Kings and The Ford of Bruinen.
At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel.
Safari of the Scenes - Glenorchy:
For Lord of the Rings fans, this is the trip where we really does take you There and Back again. This scenic sightseeing tour includes recognisable film locations and stunning natural scenery.
The Glenorchy Safari of the Scenes takes you from Queenstown to Glenorchy stopping at breath-taking viewpoints along the way. Beyond Glenorchy follow the Dart River to the spectacular filming location for Isengard. This location offers stunning views of Mt Earnslaw. Heading to Paradise to discover the location for the Forest of Lothlorien.
Leaving Glenorchy and returning towards Queenstown you will stop at 12 Mile Delta to explore the location of the Ithilien Camp.
At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel.
