Activity Overview
Embark on a day out from Paris and discover the history of France on a Palace of Versailles tour. Travel in a luxury, air-conditioned coach to the awe-inspiring palace and witness its magnificence and pomp.
The Palace of Versailles is the most famous palace in France and draws tourists from across the world to explore its richly decorated interiors and formal gardens. Built by Louis the XIV, it served as the seat of the royal court for more than a century. A tour of the palace is a memorable experience and offers a glimpse into the extravagant lifestyle of the French nobility. The King’s Suite is particularly lavish with frescoes, woodwork and marble and gilt embellishments. The Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon are two smaller palaces built by Louis the XIV for his family.
You may also visit the beautiful gardens which are almost as impressive as the palace itself. Designed in the formal style, they have marble and bronze statues, fountains and geometrically aligned terraces.

Pushchairs are not allowed inside Versailles palace.
Unfortunately this tour is not suitable for those with mobility problems.
Pictures without flash are permitted inside the palace.
Please note that check-in will close 10 minutes before excursion start time.
High-heeled shoes are not recommended due to parquet flooring in the rooms.
Skip the line access is subject to Versailles palace procedures, including the Vigipirate plan, security control or an unforeseen crowd can slow the process.
