However many you like the pastry and chocolate tour of Saint Germain-des-Prés is a journey that will take you into confectionary heaven that's worth pursuing! Three-hours of indulging in pastry and chocolate pleasures! For this is a tour where you’ll discover the art of chocolate maker, the passion of perfecting pastries. Walk by the window displays, taste the specialities. You’ll see the artisans of their craft – The Picasso of chocolate makers, the magician of the ganache, to name but a few. This is a tour for the eyes and the palate in Paris’s most fashionable district. A gastronomical experience you may need the afternoon to recover from.
About your guide
For Meeting the French, touring the Eiffel tower is 'old school'. They don't herd you onto a bus and have you driven to the famous sights. Oh no, they focus on intimate and original experiences which celebrate the French lifestyle and culture, helping you to see the real Paris. The city they call home.
Here’s the plan…
You’ll meet your guide before heading into the fashionable district of Saint Germain-des-Prés. Where your eyes and taste buds will go into overdrive as you seek out the top pastry, chocolate and confectionary shops.
You’ll be shown the places where the magic takes place, made by the artisans who have been celebrated for their craft. See the best chocolate maker or even the Picasso of Chocolate makers! Discover who the magician of ganache is! You’ll walk pass window displays each showcasing their mouth-watering treats. Don’t worry, for this is a tour where tasting is the highlight. You’ll try two pastries, five chocolates and freshly baked bread.
This 3-hour tour is where you’ll get a feast for the eyes as well as your mouth!
