Paris Zoological Park (Parc Zoologique de Paris), Avenue Daumesnil, 75012, Paris
Same as the start point
Get up close with animals from the Patagonian pampas to the dry forest of Madagascar in an immersive experience at the Parc Zoologique de Paris.
Embark on an animal centric adventure and see wild animals like giraffes, rhinos, ring-tailed lemurs, seals and young lions. Keep your camera handy as every twist and turn might spring on you the most stunning photo ops. Keep an eye out for the Big Rock, a 65m-tall artificial mini-mountain which is an iconic symbol of the zoo.
Formerly known as the Bois de Vincennes Zoological Park, Parc Zoologique de Paris was revamped 2014. All animal habitats were grouped into five biozones, from Europe to Madagascar, and Africa to Patagonia. There's also an Amazon zone worth a visit.
In Africa, see lions, giraffes, and zebras (in the same biozone, but unluckily for the lions, not in the same enclosure). Europe has wolves, lynxes, otters, while the Amazon zone has jaguars, monkeys, and macaws, Patagonia has penguins, pumas, and pudus.
And these are just some of the zones and a few of the animals. The zoo also houses birds, lizards, snakes, tarantulas, frogs, fish, and mammals big and small. For animal lovers and wildlife enthusiasts, the Parc Zoologique de Paris is a veritable paradise!
