Overview
A morning stroll is good for the heart and soul. Especially so when you’re in the middle of a busy city. Take a tour down the green side of the Champs-Elysées and enjoy the beautifully landscaped gardens, the architecture that surrounds them and the rare species on show. A tour of the green lungs of Paris. Starting from the Place de la Concorde, you’ll walk through the stunning green spaces, from the gardens of the Universal Exhibition to the Swiss Valley. Your guide will use their expert knowledge to help explain the history and the gardens relationships with the city and the surrounding monuments. You’ll see rare species and beautiful trees while taking your time to let the beauty of it all sink in. You may not be green fingered, but that shouldn’t stop you from enjoying the aesthetic pleasures you’ll see along Paris's green corridor.
About your guide
For Meeting the French, touring the Eiffel tower is 'old school'. They don't herd you onto a bus and have you driven to the famous sights. Enter into the green lungs of Paris. Explore the gardens along the prestigious Champs-Elysées. Draw breath at the beauty of the trees and the landscape before you.
While you stroll your expert guide will give you an in-depth history of the gardens and their relationships with the city. You will visit the gardens of the Universal Exhibitions, the Swiss Valley garden and the surroundings of Elysée Palace. It's a far cry from the busy streets close by.
These are pleasant strolls, where you’ll have the chance to take in the surroundings, see a selection of rare species and trees and enjoy the green side of Paris. A tour that is good for the heart and soul.

This gardens tour is adults and older children-only. Little ones under the age of 5 years will have to sit this one out, we’re afraid.

Your guide will meet you 15 minutes before the start time.
Make sure you wear comfortable shoes, you’ll be doing plenty of walking.
