Overview

Visit one of the most famous museums in the world, the Louvre and enjoy informative commentary on the Mona Lisa by an expert guide! Avoid the crowds with skip-the-line entrance to the Louvre Museum and head straight to the Mona Lisa original painting. One of the most visited works of art in the world, the Mona Lisa has been displayed at the Louvre Museum in Paris for more than 200 years.

The masterful composition of the Italian Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci, Mona Lisa boasts Leonardo's sfumato technique of soft, heavily shaded modelling. The Mona Lisa's enigmatic expression, which seems both alluring and aloof, has given the portrait universal fame and has continued to fascinate critics and amateurs for centuries. Enjoy enlivening and informative commentary on the Mona Lisa by your guide and admire the mystery of da Vinci’s masterpiece.

After the Mona Lisa tour, you will be able to continue your visit by yourself, at your own pace, and see the thousands of other works of art on display at the Louvre.

See the Winged Victory of Samothrace, a Greek sculpture expressive of the deity Nike posed on a ship's bow. Admire the largest painting in the Louvre – the Marriage at Cana that depicts Christ turning water into wine at a wedding. This ‘first miracle’ of Christ is captured in Paul Véronèse’s work. Admire more stunning history-laden paintings like The Coronation, The Raft of the Medusa and more.
