  • Overview & Itinerary

Enjoy eye-popping Paris panoramas atop one of France’s tallest buildings.

From the 56th or 59th floor of Montparnasse Tower, you will get a breathtaking view stretching as far as 40 km (24 miles). With this 360 degree view, you can see the bustling city at your feet with its famous landmarks – the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, Sacré Coeur, Musée d'Orsay, the Arc de Triomphe and many more – laid out like a map.

And to make the experience even more special, you can also choose to have a glass of top quality champagne (optional) in the 56th floor café. The venue is open every day till late so you can admire the sweeping vistas by day or the twinkling city lights by night.

Spend your winter break with your loved ones skating on Paris’ highest skating rink (open from 10 February to 5 March 2017) offering spectacular views of the city’s most famous monuments from one place.

It's a perfect introduction to the magic of Paris.

At 210 meters (689 ft) tall, the soaring Montparnasse Tower is the tallest office building in France. The 56th floor, which includes a Café - the 360° Café, and the terrace on the top floor are open to visitors. And unlike that other famous Parisian viewpoint, the Eiffel Tower, you don't get long queues!

In just 38 seconds, Europe's fastest elevator will whizz you up to the 56th floor, at a height of 196 meters (over 640 ft). From the comfort of the observation floor, you can see stupendous views of the city in all directions. On a clear day you can see as far as 40 km (24 miles) and watch aircrafts taking off from Orly Airport.

Looking down, you can make out all Paris's landmarks and major attractions, including the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, Sacré Coeur, Musée d'Orsay, the Arc de Triomphe, the Panthéon, the Louvre and the Luxembourg garden.

The observatory is equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual and interactive facilities to help you interpret the views of the city below. These include binoculars, exhibitions, quizzes, interactive facilities, film, viewpoint tables and more.

You can also upgrade your ticket and include a glass of fine quality champagne (or other drink of your choice), plus delicious nibbles, in the 360° Café on the 56th floor. What could be more romantic than sipping champagne as you watch the sun set over one of the world's most beautiful cities?

For even more breath-taking panoramas, step outside onto the outdoor observation deck, accessible from the 56th floor through a flight of stairs.

Here, 210 meters (689 feet) above the streets, you get a different viewing experience. The city is spread out before you, swarming with life. By using viewpoint indicators, you can locate and see each of the Parisian districts and their monuments.

You can stay as long as you like at the 56th floor and roof terrace viewing facilities.

    Ice Skating Rink (10th February - 5th March, 2017):

This winter, Montparnasse Tower Observation Deck and Boaz Concept brings you an opportunity to skate on a 210m² pop up an ice skating rink on the 59th floor terrace for FREE. Indulge your inner child doing figure-8s on the ice rink. Look out over the spectacular views of Paris as you skate 210 meters above ground, which are particularly scenic if you climb after dark and see the city lit up.

There's also a champagne bar, mulled wine at the ‘chalet’ and steaming hot chocolate to warm you up post-skate. The skating rink will be accessible to children from 2 years old, double-bladed skates and sledges makes it a safe skating experience. Skates will be provided for free, but you are welcomed to bring your own.
