Overview

Visit 2 iconic attractions - Monet’s home and the Palace of Versailles, on a private trip from Paris.

Visit the Palace of Versailles, the main royal residence of France on a guided tour. Spanning more than 721,000 square feet, the Palace has over 700 rooms. See the King's Apartments, visit the majestic Hall of Mirrors and explore the palace's splendid gardens. Admire the stunning architecture and décor and observe its many works of art, fountains, ponds, flower beds and groves of trees. Explore the magnificent gardens on your own, even on the days of Musical Fountains or Musical Gardens.

Visit Monet’s picturesque gardens in Giverny. Learn about Monet’s life and how he lived there until his death at the age of 43. After a delicious lunch in a charming restaurant in the countryside, you will discover the inspirational beauty of Giverny, the picturesque village that inspired its most famous resident, Claude Monet.

Amble through flower-lined paths that inspired the artist’s impressionist painting and admire the lavish, vibrant flower beds. Cross the water garden by the Japanese bridge. See the famous water lilies, found in the celebrated painting of the same name.

At Monet’s home, explore the reading room, also called the “blue room,” the sunflower-yellow dining room adorned with Japanese prints, and the private apartments (guided tours of the interior are not permitted due to the lack of space).
