About your guide
For Meeting the French, touring the Eiffel tower is 'old school'. They don't herd you onto a bus and have you driven to the famous sights. Oh no, they focus on intimate and original experiences which celebrate the French lifestyle and culture, helping you to see the real Paris. The city they call home.
Here’s the plan…
Head into the medieval part of the Latin Quarter, where high quality meets good food. The perfect combination we say. Over the course of three hours, you’ll walk through markets, visit bakers and confectioners, sample the food.
With your guide to help you pick out the best bits, call this your introduction to French gourmandise. Your first stop on the road to appreciating French food! You start at the market and then head to a cheese dairy before visiting several bakers and confectioners. Rounding your trip off at a regional speciality shop. You’ll taste foie gras, cheese and bread, and drink wine. Your appreciation will grow with every bite!
The focus is firmly on family cuisine and getting to feel like real Parisians. You will have walked and sampled your way through some of the city's most exceptional food. Surely counts towards being Parisian, right?
The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch, and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 48 hours before your organised tour to reconfirm.
Your guide will speak English and French. We can arrange Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese & Chinese on request. Give our customer service team a call and they’ll arrange this for you.
Your guide will meet you 15 minutes before the start time.
Make sure you wear comfortable shoes, you’ll be doing plenty of walking.
