Watch a somber documentary that includes live footage of the attack at Pearl Harbor. Then, cruise across the harbor to the Arizona Memorial where you can view the site of the events that led the U.S. into World War II. Then, walk through a naval hangar that survived the attack at the nearby Pacific Aviation Museum.
Gaze at both American and Japanese airplanes and remember the sometimes necessary horrors of war. Finally, circle a collection of artifacts from World War II including several from the Japanese interment camps.
The tour begins with a pick-up from either your hotel in Waikiki. Travel in an air-conditioned coach to the Arizona Memorial accompanied by a knowledgeable English-speaking guide.
Arrive at the Arizona Memorial Visitors Center where you will be shown a film that includes live footage of the devastating 1941 Pearl Harbor attack.
Then, ride a US Navy launch across the Harbor to the Arizona Memorial, the final resting place for many of the crew members who lost their lives by the Japanese attack
From there visit the adjacent Pacific Aviation Museum.
Begin the tour of the museum by walking through a hangar that survived the attack at Pearl Harbor.
Also, tour American and Japanese airplanes including a Japanese Zero fighter and its adversary the Grumman F4F Wildcat. Artifacts include items concerning the internment of Japanese Americans, historical footage of the attack on Pearl Harbor and informative re-enactments that allow you to experience the sights, sounds and exhilaration of the first days of World War II.
