The tour ends at the starting point or your hotel in the Waikiki Beach
The tour begins at your hotel. You will be picked up in a premier mini-coach accompanied by a driver cum English speaking guide.
From there you will be driven to the Honolulu Airport and board Hawn Airlines flight to Lihue, Kauai.
Drive through the quaint Lihue Town and view relics of the Kauais and the long-time sugar industry that existed here. From the airport, we will take you on a drive through Lihue Town
The tour will take you to the lip of the breathtaking Waimea Canyon and gaze at the deep and expansive gorge. In the town of Waimea, you will see the statue of Captain James Cook, a British sailor, who changed the course of history for Hawaii when he sailed into the Waimea Harbor in Janauary 1778. He reportedly was the first westerner to ever set foot on the islands. Waimea Canyon Drive takes you to one of the scenic lookouts where you will view Waimea Canyon, the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific." Waimea Canyon is the largest canyon in the Pacific and truly a dramatic sight to behold. The canyon measures 10 miles long, 1 mile wide, and more than 3,500-feet deep. It was carved thousands of years ago by rivers and floods that flowed from Mount Waialeales summit.
From there, tour the half finished ruins of the Russian Fort, the result of a trade deal that went awry between Russian traders and King Kamehameha I in the 19th Century. the Koloa Sugar Mill and Queen Victoria´s profile
From there, you will watch the wave-driven Spouting Horn shoot salt water over 50 feet in the air. In the resort town of Poipu
View the the world-class Poipu Bay Resort.
Then see the remains of the Koloa Sugar Mill.
See the rugged landscape that is said to resemble Queen Victoria.
From the harbor, board the spacious open air boat and coast along the Wailua River towards the famed Fern Grotto. Here, you can also hear traditional Hawaiian musicians play their instruments against the beautiful backdrop. The acoustics within this natural amphitheater are fantastic and greatly enhance the singing and guitar accompaniment., The trip up this historic and sacred river takes about 40 minutes via a long flat bottom riverboat.
Finally, view the stunning 150 foot cascade of Opaekaa Falls.
Then, its time to fly back to Oahu, where we will pick you up from Honolulu Airport for the short drive back to Waikiki.
