Overview

The best way to get around the hustle and bustle of a busy city like Mumbai is to skip the cabs and take to the speedy trains to get to the iconic landmarks quickly! Meet your expert English speaking local guide at the Regal Cinema, Colaba and start your tour on a bus ride to Victoria Terminus Train Station - a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire was filmed.

Your guide will then accompany you to the flower market which is flooded with all kinds of roses: white, pink, red, yellow and various other kinds of flowers, garlands and bouquets. You will then take a train again to Mahalaxmi, known as Dhobi Ghat (Open Air Laundry) where clothes are washed in full view of the public.

After checking out this unique phenomenon, you will take a taxi to Chor Bazaar, one of the largest flea markets in the entire country. Then, take a taxi to Churchgate. Here, you will find the Mumbai dabbawalas, a lunchbox delivery and return system that delivers hot lunches from homes and restaurants to people at work in India, especially in Mumbai.
