Get, set for your yummilicious Malaysian food tour as you are picked up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur and driven to Pasar Seni LRT Station.
Here is a rundown of what you can expect during this street food trail: • Local delights like Char Kuew Teow – local stir fried rice noodles (a national favorite!) and Yong Tau Fu prepared from vegetables with freshly stuffed fish paste, local seasonal fruits and pastries, are waiting to fill your appetite at Petaling Street, the place that most say laid the foundation of Kuala Lumpur City.
• Visit a ‘kopitiam'’ – one of the few authentic coffee shops that exists in Kuala Lumpur and enjoy a refreshing brew of the local Liberica bean coffee amidst the bustling Malaysian wet market.
• Browse through the local shops and spot local produce from vegetables to a variety of seafood and poultry along with a guide.
• Get a convivial high as you sample Chinese herbal teas and learn about traditional Chinese medicines and their herbal properties.
• Witness the trade and occupation of the early days by the community in Chinatown such as sundry shop and what it has to offer.
Your tour ends at Petaling Street, after which you may explore the area on your own.
