Our tips for Genting Highlands

  • Go for a bowl: If you fancy a bit of bowling at the resort then the ‘glow in the dark, which is available after 6pm is fun for all the family.
  • It’s a 24-hour attraction: Parts of Genting Highlands are open for 24hrs, i.e. the casino. You must be over 21 to play and there is a strict dress code. Shorts and sandals for example aren’t permitted. Here’s the hope you win if you do try it out.

Genting Highlands is an all-year-round attraction, though its busiest months are from June to August. And it’s also busy during the public and school holidays. Christmas season for example.

Getting there
  • You’re in a big city, so expect heavy traffic during the peak times of the day.
  • If you’re not heading on a bus tour, there is an extensive public transport system.
  • Buses and light commuter trains and taxis help you get about. 
  • Getting to Genting Highlands will most likely involve going on an organised tour, so transfers from your hotel are most likely included. Check the tour for details.
