Our tips for Pear Harbor Visitor Center

Avoid carrying backpacks and bags. To enter the center, you have to go through security. You can carry your camera, wallet and water bottle with you but you have to store your bag in a locker and pay a per bag rate. Start early if you go without tickets: The USS Arizona Memorial is free to visit but you have to stand in a line to get one (if you haven’t pre-booked your tickets). 1300 walk-in tickets are available in a day and they are on a first come first serve basis, so be there as early as 7am (the center opens at 8am). USS Bowfin: A ticket to tour the USS Bowfin can be purchased at the Visitor Center and includes an audio guided tour. There is no specific time for these tours, so go anytime between 8am and 5pm.
