Sham Shui Po is a mish-mash of some of the interesting things to do found anywhere else in Hong Kong. This tour will take you around this cheerful neighbourhood filled with historic sites, DIY tools, hawker stalls, Michelin-Starred restaurants and stalls of mouthwatering street foods.
After meeting your guide at the starting point, you will head to Mei Ho House which is the only remaining Mark I H-Shaped resettlement block in the local community. Currently a youth hostel and a museum, the house reflects the evolution of public housing in the city.
Next, you will hit the street markets packed with toys, DIY tools, fabrics, gadgets and mobile accessories. The places that you will visit are Fuk Wing Street-Toy Street, Yu Chau Street-Bead Street and Apliu Street-Electronics Street.
Before your tour concludes, it will be time to indulge in Hong Kong’s local culinary delights. Your guide will help you with restaurant recommendation as you savor succulent dim sum, egg tart, bean-curd pudding and soybean milk!
