Overview
Enjoy two days of cycling, kayaking and swimming in the bays near the Cat Ba Island. Take in the beautiful unspoiled natural landscape of the surroundings as you sail past limestone karsts and spend a night on a small island far from the main harbor.
Itinerary
Your day begins with a transfer from your hotel in Hanoi to Cat Ba Island, the largest island in Halong Bay. Upon arrival, head to Beo Harbor and enjoy lunch at a floating fishing village.
After an hour of lunch break, get set for the day’s main activities with a boat ride amidst the limestone karsts to the idyllic Lan Ha Bay that overlooks the crowded Cat Ba Town. Disembark the boat at Viet Hai Village where you will spend the night at a local homestay.
Spend some time exploring the village as you cycle to your accommodation. Take in the sights and sounds of the village, far away from the harbor. It is the perfect way to unwind from the busy city life and enjoy nature.
You will cycle for an hour and check-in to your homestay. Relax and savor a local dinner before retiring to your room at the end of the day.
Kickstart your day with a hearty breakfast served at 7 in the morning. After breakfast, grab your cycle and journey back to Viet Hai Harbor from where you will board a boat to Lan Ha Bay, also known to be a kayaking paradise. Indulge in swimming in the blue waters or kayak your way through a cave during your time at the bay.
