Lobos Island Excursion, from Corralejo

After approximately 15 minutes you will disembark on the beautiful Lobos Island (declared a nature reserve in 1982) and discover a natural paradise with no cars or pollution and where life goes on at a different pace. The whole island is protected and has also been declared a special protection area for birds. Its name comes from the large number of sea wolves, also called monk seals, that lived there when the island was discovered by the Spanish conquerors in the 15th Century.
