Tour returns to your original point of departure
The extraordinary landscape seems to be of another world; it is of volcanic origin. This has created some stunning natural features making you feel you are on the moon. You will find large plantations of fruits and vegetables. Most surprisingly, is perhaps the region of Geria, with vineyards between volcanic craters. Lanzarote has many surprises in store for us!
You will be picked up from one of the designated points in Jandia or Costa Calma to take a short boat ride from Fuerteventura to Lanzarote for a day tour. In Lanzarote, accompanied by an English-speaking guide, you will be taken on a coach tour to discover Timanfaya National Park.
Timanfaya National Park is Lanzarote's most popular attraction and has the most awesome scenery ever seen. Within it is Montanas del Fuego; the famous volcano referred to as the Fire Mountain. The demonstration of the thermal activity beneath the ground will leave you mesmerised by Mother Nature. You will also get to see geysers shooting high up into the air.
The next stop is Jameos del Agua which is a natural lava tube transformed into a tropical oasis, auditorium, restaurant and a pool by the island’s famous artist Cesar Manrique.
Your next stop is at Yaiza, known as the miracle village. Here you will be served a delicious three course lunch with wine. After lunch, the tour continues on to La Geria, a unique example of how a place has adapted to and made good use of its land characteristics, where you will have the chance to taste one of the delicious wines of Lanzarote.
The tour continues on to Valle de las Mil Palmcras (The Valley of a Thousand Palms) where the peaceful town of Haria is located. The valley is famous for its tradition of planting a palm tree for every child born.
At the end of the tour you will return to the original departure point.
Please call the activity operator at least 48 hours prior to the start of the tour to reconfirm the departure details.
You must carry your passport on this tour - please provide full names and passport numbers in the special requests field at time of booking.
