Begin your tour of the island in Tiscamanita and admire the modest church built by the neighbours four centuries ago. On our way to the north, we will pass through Puerto del Rosario, the capital of the island, to the Corralejo Natural Park, with more than 2,500 hectares of dunes offering a spectacular sight. A little further north, from the Port of Corralejo you can also enjoy beautiful views of Isla de Lobos, a small natural park that boasts a unique volcanic landscape.
We’ll make a stop at lunchtime in Villaverde, where you will try tapas and typical Canarian dishes before heading through La Oliva to Mirador de los Reyes, an absolute must see. Contemplate the imposing bronze statues and prepare your camera to photograph an incredible place. Afterwards, we’ll make our way to the Pepe goat’s farm to taste typical Majoreros cheeses and learn different aspects of the Aloe Vera culture.
Finally, you will arrive at the ancient capital of the island, Betancuria. Visit the Casa de Santa María, a traditional farmhouse where you can admire a collection of local artefacts and attend an audiovisual demonstration about the traditions of the locals. Before returning back home, you will stop in the picturesque town of Pájara. With its beautiful Aztec influenced church that will leave you dazzled.
