The hop-on hop-off tour bus takes four routes.
You can enjoy 1 of the 2 walking tours for free with a 2 day ticket. These two tours departing from Stop 5, Long Street Tour Office.
The Historic City Walk: The Historic City Walk takes you to places such as the City Hall, where Mr. Nelson Mandela made his first speech as a free man, as well as a walk down to Tuynhuys to learn about the Dutch era and slavery – with a stop in the garden by the old tree, which is 362 years old. It also includes a stop by the benches in front of Cape High Court where your guide will talk about the Classification Act and the Separation Act before making your way onto the Slave Lodge and the Eastern Food Bazaar. The tour departs at 11am.

The Bo-Kaap Walk: The Bo-Kaap walk takes you along the cobbled streets of Bo-Kaap through the beautiful, brightly coloured houses where you will learn about the history of the Muslim population and see Cape Town’s first Mosque. You will hear about the popular Cape Malay food and even be advised on where to soak up some of Cape Town’s enticing nightlife. The tour starts at 3pm.
The Bo-Kaap is an area formerly known as the Malay Quarter. It is quintessentially a Township, situated on the slopes of Signal Hill above the city centre and is an historical centre of Cape Malay culture in Cape Town.

With your 2-day hop-on, hop-off ticket you can also be a part of Cape Town Night Tour. There is nothing quite like Cape Town on a warm summers evening. With the smell of the ocean on the breeze and Table Mountain lit up as a spectacular back drop - the Night Tour allows you to experience a whole new side of the city.
The Night Tour departs daily from Two Oceans Aquarium at 6pm (1 Nov to 7 March) and 5:30pm (9 March - 3 May).
Your booking voucher can be exchanged for your Hop-On Hop-Off ticket at any one of the stops. Simply choose the stop which you wish to start from and present your voucher to the driver who will exchange it for a ticket that will be valid for 1 and 2 days from that time.
The route of the hop-on, hop-off tour is subject to change.
Voucher information: You must print and surrender a paper version of your booking voucher for this activity (showing your voucher on a smartphone is not accepted). No refund can be given for customers without a printed copy of their voucher.
Your voucher will be valid for 3 months from the date chosen at the time of booking.
The tour bus has a low floor with extendable ramps and wheelchair space. Passengers do not need to walk up steps to board the bus. Wheelchairs can also be can be collapsed down and stored on the bus.
Cape Town Tour will be operating throughout the festive season. The red and yellow tours will not operate on 2nd January for the Ministral carnival. The sunset bus will not operate from 25th December to 4th January 2016.
