This fun park combines the exotic excitement of a cultural and safari park with the thrills and spills of a water park. With 1,500 animals from 200 different species, local cuisines and handicrafts, as well as rides and slides, Terra Natura offers plenty of entertainment for visitors of all ages.
In just one day at Terra Natura you could explore a Mediterranean forest and view ancient Greek ruins in the Europe section; see elephants, Sumatra tigers, fakirs and snake charmers in the Asian area; or delve into the fascinating world of the Mayas and their mythology in the America exhibit. And that is just a start!
The kids will discover all sorts of stuff about the world but enjoy themselves so much they won’t know they’re learning. It’s a perfect family day out! Book Discovery Elephants tour for a truly memorable experience.
Your Terra Natura Theme Park from Benidorm experience starts directly at the park. On arrival you should show your isango voucher to gain entrance.
Terra Natura is Benidorm’s latest theme park. Part of it is essentially an animal safari park divided into four continents, three of which (America, Asia and Europe) are modern and one (Pangea) is ancient. Each continental sector contains exhibits of the history, culture and wildlife associated with it. You'll even find typical dishes of the region in the restaurants for each sector.
For example, in the America section, you have a chance to discover the fascinating world of the Mayas and their mythology. You could also stroll through the picturesque village of Copaltenango to try out the delicious fajitas of Dona Maria La Acunada or shop for souvenirs at the Popol-Vuh market.
In the Pangea section, you will see rivers of lava and huge rock formations plus spiders, giant ants, grasshoppers, dragonflies and other primitive creatures.
In the Asia section, you will see elephants, lions, Sumatra tigers, rhinos, buffaloes and crocodiles in their natural habitat. You could also come across fakirs and snake-charmers as you explore further.
In the Europe section, enter the charming village of Kalicameni and visit the Greek ruins, discover the ecosystem of the Mediterranean forest and learn about the local traditions.
It's a fabulous day out for children, who see Terra Natura as a fun theme park but still gain educational value from the visit as they learn about new continents. They can marvel at their surroundings in total security because the park has been designed to allow guests to wander very close to the animals without being in any danger.
You can have a fabulous Discovery Elephants experience (optional), a guided tour through the inside facilities of elephants, going all over the shelter and the stables and contemplating the routine or training with these animals.
At the end of a fun-filled day out, you should make your own arrangements to get back to your accommodation.
