Overview

In just one day, get to know Salvador Dali, an incomparable artist in an incomparable land. Follow the tracks of the surrealist genius in the north of Catalunya, the land that inspired the man.

Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, travel to Figueres, the birthplace of legendary surrealist painter Salvador Dali and home to the world-famous Dali Museum-Theatre.

See the place where he was born on Monturiol Street, just off the popular La Rambla. Visit the Dali Museum, designed by Dali himself and home to one of the largest collections of his work. Even the building itself is a work of art and like no other, you would have seen before.

Don’t miss out a tour of the famous Pubol Castle, the most extravagant present that Dali gave his Russian wife Gala. The castle gives a fascinating view of the painter’s lifestyle, exhibiting paintings and drawings that Dali gave as a present to his wife.

Next, discover the unparalleled beauty of Costa Brava’s turquoise waters and silvery beaches when you head to Platge de Castell. Dali visited this region several times in the 1930s, especially a place called Mas Juny, owned by his friend Josep Sert, a famous Catalan painter of the time. This place was famous for its artistic gatherings and parties, which were attended by Dali.
