Overview
Learn about the origins of Barcelona on a Montjuïc Walking Tour, admire stunning views from the hilltop, explore romantic gardens, and admire the spectacular Barcelona Magic Fountain of Montjuïc.
The tour starts outside Montjuic Castle. Take a stroll in the colorful gardens and make your way to some incredible viewpoints.
Learn about the ancient migrant community that once lived here as you visit the Mirador del Alcalde. Soak in stunning views of Barcelona and then continue to the Joan Brossa Gardens.
Spend time in these beautifully landscaped gardens and see the statue dedicated to the traditional Catalan dance, La Sardana. Later, see another monument dedicated to Carmen Amaya, the famous flamenco dancer with humble roots.
Discover the mystical side of Montjuïc at the Laribal’s Gardens, where centuries ago, witches and wizards used to gather. Walk down the gardens the same way witches used to do to reach the Greek Theater.
Toward the bottom of the hill is the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc, built-in 1929 for the International Exhibition. Admire some 20th-century architecture like the striking Museum of Catalan Art and the charming waterfall lined-walk.
After the tour, make your own way to the Venetian Towers and the Plaça d’Espanya, just a short stroll away, or grab a drink or bite to eat.
