Overview

A tour filled with mesmerising scenes, this one will take you through two of the most spectacular places in Bali - the Lempuyang Temple and the Tukad Cepung Waterfall - along with a fascinating visit to Tirtagangga, a water palace. From an epic centre of spirituality to an alluring charisma of Nature, this trip will do more than satiate that inner travel bug in you!

The highlight of this tour and our first halt for the day is the breath taking Lempuyang Temple or Pura Lempuyang Luhur, located on the slopes of its namesake, the holy Mount Lempuyang. Comprising of total six temples dotting the mountain, the Lempuyang complex is one of the “six sanctuaries of the world,” indicating its immense spiritual significance. The lowest temple is iconic for its gorgeous “Gateway to Heaven”, two intricately carved arches through which one can witness the incredible Mt. Agung on clear days - an unforgettable sight that looks like a magnificent portal to the divine realms. Believed to predate most of the ancient temples in Bali, the Lempuyang Temple is a perfect spot to soak in the overwhelming transcendence of life and human beliefs.

Once you have relished this fantastic attraction, we will head to the charming Tirtagangga - a beautiful water palace dotted with manicured gardens, swimming pools, ponds and a water tower - built by the last King of Karangasem. The water at Tirtagangga is considered sacred making the palace a hub for religious ceremonies and colourful celebrations. Stroll around the splendidly-maintained water bodies and admire the stunning eleven-tiered fountain as you sink into the serenity shrouding this picturesque area.

Your last encounter with the exquisite beauty of Bali is at the majestic Tukad Cepung Waterfall. Resembling the ravishing presence of a subterranean waterfall, Tukad Cepung is one of best virgin waterfalls in Bali. Watching the cascading streams of water surrounded by cliff edges and an open sky is enchanting to say the least. The magnificent display of light and colours, complimented by the towering omnipresence of the grandiose cliffs will leave you absolutely speechless! It’s a whole day of visual pleasure you just cannot refuse!
