Join the local population in the hustle and bustle of weekend shopping. There is plenty of time to visit the traditional fresh produce market, a hive of activity since 1908, and the well-known gypsy market on the outskirts of the town. The Castle and its archaeological museum are well worth a visit, or you can enjoy a pleasant stroll through the streets of the city full of shops and attractive esplanade.
Loulé is the biggest council in the Algarve embraces some of the most important touristic towns located on the coastline, as well as, the small villages from the interior of the region. Saturday is the best day to visit the Loulé Market.
