Overview

Take a tour to the ancient kingdom of Algarve, Portugal’s southernmost province famous for its hand-painted pottery and ceramics. Itinerary

You will be picked up the designated location in Algarve to begin your tour. Meet your expert guide who will escort you to the pottery workshop in Porches, famous for handmade ceramics. Observe the local artisans at work crafting pottery and creating beautiful designs and pick up a souvenir to take home.

Next, stop at the fishing village of Benagil where beautiful golden sand and the clear waters of the Atlantic play host to hardworking fishermen and their charming boats. Heading towards the resort of Carvoeiro, your expert guide leads you to Algar Seco, the perfect place to relax and admire the incredible caverns and grottoes along the Portugese coastline.

Walk down the hillside to River Arade and witness the traditional fishermen houses that make this charming Portuguese village, Ferragudo even more stunning. The trip culminates at a local winery where your guide will tell you about the various processes used to make different types of wine. Sample a glass or two of the hand-picked, gourmet wines at this picturesque vineyard.
