We had a lovely day out, although quite a long one, but we expected that. First it was to Windsor Castle and whilst it would have been good to have a bit more time, we knew that to fit everything in it was impossible. The maps and audio guides were great, the only downside was having to line up to get through security to get in (I guess it would be worse in summer). Stonehenge was wet and windy but nothing you can do about the weather! Plenty of time to see it, probably not enough if you want to listen to every little thing on the audio guide!! Bath was amazing, great to see the Roman Baths but not much time to see anything else. We will be going back in summer for a weekend in Bath! Overall, informative guide who catered for all the different age groups on the tour and made sure all running to schedule. Would definitely recommend this tour and will book other things through Isango again.
We were two couples on our first trip to Paris. Highly recommend tours with the 4 different routes which are interchangeable. This way you get to see so many sites you wouldn’t get a chance to see. The commentary is very good, once you work out how to use the ear phone connections for your language and the volume. Bus stops are very well marked and bus frequency good. The driver waits at the major stops so it gives you time to get to the bus. My only complaint is that on a wet, winters day, inside the bus was freezing and wet as the cold air and the water ran down the stairs from the top deck into the bus.
The Paris Pass took away any concern re what to do. It was great to know the we could jump on and off the Metro as many times as we like. Only critisism is that you simply cannot fit everything, or even as many things as you would like, into one day. If I was going to Paris again, I would double check which places are free anyway, and plan doing all of those in one day.
